On Frontier Drive at Springfield Town Center, AT&T employees were striking outside the AT&T store over the weekend May 20-21 as a part of a nationwide strike that encompassed 36 states and 40,000 AT&T employees, said strike coordinator Troy Smith. The strike was aimed at improving their health care benefits, commission plans and the outsourcing of jobs, said Smith, who called it “corporate greed.”
